Editing in Wikipedia, tech issues

Basic editing in Wikipedia can be done in a couple of ways. The simpler version—using the Visual Editor—can help you to do some quick things like fix a typo, or add a new sentence. For many edits I do, I’ll use that speedy version of editing.

For some more detailed edits, when I’m adding images that I want to specifically locate on a page, or created new page sections, I’m more comfortable with the Source Editor.

In a future video, I’ll describe the ways to use each of these. But for now, if you are the type that likes to RTFM, you could get started with that from this page:
